The Little Candle Organisation

About:

I have created “The Little Candle Organisation” with a manifesto founded on (but not limited to) the desire to bring into being a more Loving experience for myself, my family, my friends and for the planet.  To bring about an awakened and unified consciousness for the improvement of ALL lives.

Om Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantua (Sanskrit: लोकः समस्ताः सुखिनो भवन्तु)

May all beings in all worlds be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and freedom - this Sanskrit Mantra reminds us that our relationships with all beings and things should be mutually beneficial if we ourselves desire happiness and liberation from suffering. No true or lasting happiness can come from causing unhappiness to others. No true or lasting freedom can come from depriving others of their freedom.

“There once was a soul who knew itself to be the light. This was a new soul, and so, anxious for experience. “I am the light,” it said. “I am the light.” Yet all the knowing of it and all the saying of it could not substitute for the experience of it. And in the realm from which this soul emerged, there was nothing but the light. Every soul was grand, every soul was magnificent, and every soul shone with the brilliance of My awesome light. And so the little soul in question was as a candle in the sun. In the midst of the grandest light—of which it was a part—it could not see itself, nor experience itself as Who and What it Really Is. Now it came to pass that this soul yearned and yearned to know itself. And so great was its yearning that I one day said, “Do you know, Little One, what you must do to satisfy this yearning of yours?” “Oh, what, God? What? I’ll do anything!” The little soul said. “You must separate yourself from the rest, of us,” I answered, “and then you must call upon yourself the darkness.’ “What is the darkness, o Holy One?” the little soul asked. “That which you are not,” I replied, and the soul understood. And so this the soul did, removing itself from the All, yea, going even unto another realm. And in this realm the soul had the power to call into its experience all sorts of darkness. And this it did. Yet in the midst of all the darkness did it cry out, “Father, Father, why hast Thou forsaken me?” Even as have you in your blackest times. Yet I have never forsaken you, but stand by you always, ready to remind you of Who You Really Are; ready, always ready, to call you home.

Therefore, be a light unto the darkness, and curse it not. And forget not Who You Are in the moment of your encirclement by that which you are not. But do you praise to the creation, even as you seek to change it. And know that what you do in the time of your greatest trial can be your greatest triumph. For the experience you create is a statement of Who You Are—and Who You Want to Be.

I have told you this story—the parable of the little soul and the sun—so that you might better understand why the world is the way it is—and how it can change in an instant the moment everyone remembers the divine truth of their highest reality.”

The story of the Little Soul who was as a candle in the sun, taken from Conversations with God, Book 1 by Neale Donald Walsch was the inspiration for (although I suspect it was always intuited) the creation of the Not-for-Profit organisation which we have called The Little Candle Organisation – A Resource and Community Centre for the Spiritually Curious.  We have also always liked the fact that the abbreviation of the name is TLC, which also stands for Tender Loving Care – another name well suited and contextually aligned with our Mission.

The concept of the organisation was to broadly (but not limited to) create a resource / information centre (both physically and online) that assists people who are Spiritually curious to broaden their horizons and exposure to relevant materials, in an organised and coherent way, utilising a synthesis of materials, concepts and learning from our own journey so far.  This structured exposure is already assisting in bringing into being a more loving experience for myself, my family, my friends, my community and for the planet as the message of awakening is promulgated, shared, and taken on board.  Choppy, Claire, Cerys and I are the proud and humble facilitators of journeys of self-awareness for those that have been brought to TLC as part of their very own personal journeys back to Love, back to an awakened and unified consciousness for the improvement of all our lives.

We are still early in our journey, and work together daily to add to our materials, our offerings, and the format with which we make the resources available to those who have been brought to TLC.  I say “brought to” because we do not advertise (we are not a business given we are funded by the windfall) and have simply opened our days to all who come.  So far it has been an interesting but hugely rewarding journey; we now have new people almost every day, as word has spread, but we also have a small cadre of dedicated returnees who simply come for the fellowship and the support in the journey, which as we all know, can be very difficult at times.

Here is a simple break-down of the TLC Spiritual Orientation Ecosystem, as we have developed and shaped so far.  Of course, it is a “living” body of knowledge that will continue to be added to and refined as we continue our own journeys and are guided more directly by Spirit.

At the conceptual centre we have:

“God, Source, The All, the Universe, The Ground of All Being, All that Is, I Am, Source.”  We have listed these out as they are the most used concepts / words that we have found in our learning and experience so far; and in being the most used, we have found that most people are happy to start their orientation with one of these as the Keystone for what follows.  Personally, I am quite comfortable with God, so for the rest of this explanatory exercise will use the term as synonymous with all of the above.

Following on from the conceptual centre, we move to define (as best we are able!) the essence or nature of God, i.e., Love, Peace, Kindness, Care, Compassion, Acceptance, Gratitude, Forgiveness.  Demonstration of these are all high vibrational states of Being, aligned with God.

Then, in the context of God and what He/She is, we go next to where we fit in, and what our True Nature is…   Here we look at Awareness / Consciousness

What are we doing here on Earth, in this Incarnation?  Why are we here?...

How does it all work / fit together?  What is inside the engine? Dimensions, Quantum Hologram, Akashic Records, Time, and Space (No Time and No Space), Eternity, Thought-Responsive environments, Objective Reality vs Ultimate Reality.

Key Concepts

The first concept to grasp is that there is an Ultimate Truth (Capital U and T).  We do not know what this is and most likely never will.  There are however many materials that point us in its general direction; spiritual, metaphysical, religious and even scientific.

What we know and perceive (believe to be) “reality” is nowhere near the UT, it is in fact an illusion / hologram / virtual reality.

There is a God – The Universe, The Source, the Ground of All Being, All that Is, I Am, Consciousness.  All these labels apply; choose that which you prefer.  The source exists separate from All but is also inherently All.

The concept I prefer is Panentheism.  I.e. Panentheism considers God and the Universe to be inter-related with the Universe being in God and God being in the Universe.

The Universe is large and exists not only of many so-called physical dimensions, but many etheric or spiritual dimensions as well.

Linear time does not exist. It is the refraction of eternity by our human minds; an artificial construct.

All time is NOW.  All life, lives, probabilities and sequential times exist simultaneously.  Refer At Home with God by Neale Donal Walsch (sequentaneous) and Conversations with Spirit by ___.

Given that we are the creations of God in his/her image, it follows that:

“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.” — Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

Refer this article - https://thedailyguardian.com/spiritual-beings-having-a-human-experience/

We have multiple human (and other life form) experiences through the mechanism of Reincarnation.

The purpose of any “Human” life is to:

1.       Remember who we are – Love, Compassion, Kindness, Calm, Peace, Light, Boundless, Luminous.

Refer:

“We shall not cease from exploration

And the end of all our exploring

Will be to arrive where we started

And know the place for the first time.

Through the unknown, remembered gate

When the last of earth left to discover

Is that which was the beginning;

At the source of the longest river

The voice of the hidden waterfall

And the children in the apple-tree

Not known, because not looked for

But heard, half-heard, in the stillness

Between two waves of the sea.

—T.S. Eliot, from “Little Gidding,” Four Quartets (Gardners Books; Main edition, April 30, 2001) Originally published 1943.”

2.  Experience is everything

3.  Grow Spiritually by the experiences we entertain through the exercise of our free will

4.  How do you “meet” each experience

There is no Dualism, no separation from the Divine.  Never has been and never will be.  As such there is no right or wrong, good or bad, light or dark, up or down, left or right…  ALL experience is valid.

As such no “Soul” ever suffers other than what it chooses to suffer in the exercise of gaining experience. No Soul ever remains in the human body during suffering or death unless it chooses to.

Given that nothing is “real” we have nothing to fear.  Nothing matters in our Earthly experience in the context of Ultimate Reality.  Let it all Go.
